A large-format painting that must be seen in real life! "Grubby in Grez - Waiting for the Artists award" is about artists' dilemmas and thoughts about what actually makes sense to paint. The painting depicts the artist's studio in Grez sur Loing.
(Grez sur Loing is a village south of Paris, where Carl Larsson, August Strindberg and others artists worked at the end of the 19th century. Waldemarsudde in Stockholm had an exhibition that showed how artists shaped the surroundings during this period. And the Swedish Television had a documentary about Carl Larssons life and this studio.)

Painted in Carl Larsson's old studio in Grez sur Loing outside Paris in 2007, shipped to Sweden the same year. Suspended on wooden frame with wedges in 2018. The painting is sold directly by the artist. Documentation and video clips from the work on the painting are sent to the buyer.
